1. Historical fiction, set sometime between, I think, 1850 and 1920, so quite a stretch! A group of girls, not sisters, and as far as I recall the major plot was them trying to get seven red fabrics to make a quilt one of their grandmothers had been talking about called Oh, The Red Rose Tree. They took one of the reds from a pair of red undies one of the mothers had been scandalized over, and I think they may have deliberately ruined a tablecloth for second red, but I'm not sure.

Edit: in fact, it turns out to be called Oh, The Red Rose Tree. So I found it, but thanks to the other people who found it as well.

2. Since I posted that, I might as well mention this collection of short stories. I think it's only one collection, it might be two! One of the short stories was about a girl who was being sent on a plane to visit her uncle while her family dealt with some issue, and she didn't want to visit her uncle so when she saw him she screamed that she didn't know him, he was a stranger. So she got sent home, and she was in so much trouble that when she saw her mother she repeated it. So they just kept flying her around on the plane, until she eventually was given a flight attendant uniform.

The second one, which I think was in the same book, involved a girl who ended up in neverland and found out it was all being run by the tyrannical Wendy, and all the girls (also called Wendy, even if they weren't) were basically slave labor. She may have caused a revolution, she certainly wanted to.

The third short story, again, I think it is in the same book, was about Alice's last trip to wonderland, where she finally killed the Jabberwock herself.

Edit: this is most likely Twelve Impossible Things Before Breakfast. Thanks!
